Topic outline

    • "A birds veiw" is a truly magical 23 second shot with a slow reveal from a simple twist into the sun and up towards the top of th tree and through the leaves to catch a small glimpse of the entrance of Gower College Swansea's Gorseinon Campus.

      Just stunning, enjoy!

Be sure to watch the "behind the scene" video to see how the film was captured at the bottom of this page.

    • Shaped for "TickTock"

"Bee Walk" for me, is a 26 second masterpeice of ideas and techniques all rolled into one.

Using the Insta360 cam to get amongst nature, whilst using the tiny planet feature and some AI and post editing wizardry, this beautiful and mesmorising short video is a real joy to watch and share.

The voice was deemed from MS Clipchamp, which really suits the subject

Again, the capture is shown in ther "Behind the scenes" video at the end of the page.

    • Campus "World" is a short 19 second hugely vibrant video with the first look at Insta360's "Tiny Planet" feature, which is by far one of the most creative and fun post production video functions you can use, when using Insta360's Studio software.

If you dont have the software, then please scroll to the bottom of this page for a link to download Insta360 Studio.

This feature is endless GREAT fun!

    • "Beautiful drone" is one of my favorites! It just has a slick and polished feel to it, the way it rises and falls and the sense of height and motion from the shot.

Be sure to check out the "fishermans cast" method for this 37 second shot in the "Behind the scenes video" and a cheeky freeze frame catching the light, simply to add time and sync with audio. Magic!

    • Drone Emulator at just 22 seconds was a scary shoot.  When running in order to speed things up you realy need to pay attention, but the outcome whilst using some cool sound affects and some post production foolery, you would not guess how this was done.

Until you see the "behind the scene" video at the bottom, enjoy!

    • The day was just too pretty not to extend this video, just 46 seconds of bliss.

Sweeps, reveals and through shots.  Take a look and see which one got extended. Stunning!

    • It had to be done!

"MTV" So? What can we do with funky features?  Well funky shots and post production.

This was over the top and great fun and gave us a ton of ideas, most of which I threw in, AWESOME!

    • In conrast, no post prod, simple reveal into the sun from the ground and some piano, this 28 seconds could be a great peice for any website.

Even keeping it simple with your Insta360 footage can have great reward and something to enjoy over and over.
    • Really started thinking outside the box for this capture and learning so much in the post prod to hide people from the shot created this mini masterpeice.

"Sphere Magic" is shear magic, 31 seconds, I maybe showing some of the plumbing up high, but boy what a dramatic capture, I just love it.  Be sure to see how this one was done, because you will want to try this for yourself for sure.

    • Trips, falls and re-do's have been removed (haha). What I will say is that this is most certainly Part 1 and to stay tuned for Part 2 "the wearables". Its over 2 mins long but all scenes are lablled, it was soooo warm.

    • Sometimes, you wont have to work too hard to achieve the amazing, because the location is all the beauty and drama you need.

Just a subject, somewhere special, good weather and some post production magic and timing and the results will be "Majestic".
    • Whilst on a legitimate coastal path and safely using the extra long selfiie pole and also having a partner with you keeping you safe as you look to capture the excitment, I was able to dangle the camera over the edge for a dramatic shot.  This looks fantastic, but always, ALWAYS safet before creativity.

    • Again, safety first, I was able to position myself for high shot covering as many of the crags and small places along the coastal path to create this drone-like dramatic shot.

    • A fantastic result.  I was looking for that fly off dramatic shot and i finally found the best and sfaest place to give me the very best results.

I love this shot as it not only captures Welsh beauty but demonstrates what is acheivable with some careful planning with the Insta360

    • A truly wondeful day of shooting in "Oystermouth castle" with the AMAZING pupils from "Penyrheol" school and the lovely staff "Miss" and "Miss".

This shot is a ground reveal into a full Pendulum 360 and if it where not for the keen eye of the pupils we could have missed this fantastic shot.  Great team work and lots more to come from the pupils after we get stuck into some post production castle magic,

    • Wonderful location and an amazing team.

"Penyrheol Team 360" were simply AWESOME and its been an absolute labour of love during the post production edit of the few clips I managed to take on the day, which will sit alongside the amazing footage to come from the students themselves over the next week or so.

Number one highlight of the year 100%
