    • Welcome to The Importance of Employability Skills.  This is one of the modules you will study while on the Advance into FE course. 

      Having employability skills in life is vital. Education and experience may make someone eligible for a job but it is also important to have certain skills that make you employable, a few of them can be seen below. 

      • Communication
      • Teamwork
      • Problem solving
      • Flexibility 
      • Planning and organising
      • Self-management

      In this unit, we will look at these skills and identify how we can improve them. We will look at possible paths for you to follow by discussing your interests and characteristics. Additionally, you'll learn how to write a C.V and be given opportunities for potential jobs in the future.
