Welcome to this short introductory course on Digital Practice.
This will help to prepare you for when you start your course with us at Gower College Swansea, as well as giving you an opportunity to brush up on some of your skills! -

Here’s a quick summary of the things covered in the videos:
- Macro/Close up Photography
- Lighting
- Oil and Water separation
- Building a make shift studio set up
Task:
- Now you will need to take your own photographs using your smart phone. Ensure that you get as close as you can without the images being out of focus.
- Try out using coloured paper in the background to make your images a more exciting colour.
- Then take them into an editing app of your choice and experiment with further colour enhancement.

Photography apps are some of my favourite smartphone apps, so I'm always on the lookout for new ones. In this video, we go over a list of 10 different photography and photo editing apps that allow you to capture and edit awesome photos. Whether they're just funny selfies or high quality landscapes, most of these should be pretty interesting. Also, almost all of these are available for both iOS / iPhone and Android, with only a couple exceptions. So everyone should be able to find some cool apps they can use here.
